When asked about the collaboration, Marizu expressed his excitement, stating, "My father has been my biggest inspiration and mentor. Growing up, I would watch my dad and his band rehearse for hours and create beautiful music. Collaborating with him on this song is a dream come true. I’ve asked him many times over the years to hop on a track and I’m glad he finally agreed. We wanted to create something that brings people together, transcending cultural and musical boundaries and I think we were able to do that."

About Buchi
Buchi is a legendary reggae musician and a true pioneer in the genre. With a career spanning decades, Buchi has left an indelible mark on the music industry with his timeless hits. Between 1987 and 1988, before he became a Christian, he was already playing reggae music with the likes of Ras Kimono and that served as a training for him. When he became a Christian in 1992, there arose a need for him to sing and he was already equipped with enough exposure to reggae music. Buchi began his gospel music journey in 1994 when he resigned his lecturing job with the University of Lagos. He then dominated the gospel music scene through his brilliant tracks and dedication to winning souls with his style of music. He has since released a good number of studio albums and several books aimed at evangelizing and bringing people closer to Christ.
