Ugandan based Nigerian artist, Malcolm Rue kick-starts the new year with a beautiful single titled ‘Yakpa’.
According to Malcolm, “Yakpa is a tale of God’s providence, blessings and abundant grace upon our lives. It is an appreciation song to God as well as a prophetic melodious tune for the new year.”
‘Yakpa’ sets the pace for Malcolm Rue’s debut album which is on the way.

He hails from imo state in Nigeria and studied physics at Michael okpara university umudike abia state Nigeria. Currently staying in Kampala Uganda. He ventured into music professionally 2013 but came to limelight 2015 after the release of The Way You Love Me featuring top Nigerian rapper Protek. Which was followed by another song Overjoyed which got positive reviews and international airplay across Africa.
