KINGDMUSIC TEAMS UP WITH MILLI THE SHEPHERD ON “YOU WON’T GIVE UP ON ME”

We all need a reminder of God’s goodness now and then. Whether you are feeling depressed, or feeling far from God, this is a perfect song to sing over yourself. “You Won’t Give Up On Me” was inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:7 which says that, “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where they are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.” This scripture put emphasis on the fact that God will forever be chasing after us with His unconditional love. God extends forgiveness and desires us to receive Him. But we can stand in the way of receiving His compassion because it seems too radical for our logical minds to

embrace. He receives murderers and gossips with the same amount of grace, and this type of compassion is beyond our comprehension.

But it’s not about comprehending in our own understanding, instead, it’s about leaning on God’s understanding. God stands at the door of our hearts and knocks even when we refuse to answer. He makes a way through the desert even when we run away from Him. We’re sheltered from life’s storms even when we think we’re about to drown. Time and time again God makes a way because compassion sees a need and takes action. Matthew 9:36. There are times where both Milli and Kingdmusic have ran away from God’s love and embrace but they realized that He wasn’t going to give up on them because He is a good Father. Hence this collaboration is such a perfect fit. The song was produced by Milli The Shepherd, real name Mulisa Seani and was written by both Kingdmusic and Milli.
