Tye Tribbett Tops 2024 Stellar Gospel Music Awards Nominations: Full List


The 39th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards is celebrated as the "Greatest Night in Gospel Music." It offers a nationwide audience a chance to witness the transformative power of faith through remarkable performances and well-earned recognitions.


Highlights

  • Tye Tribbett, who recently won his third Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album with "All Things New: Live in Orlando," leads the nominations for the 2024 Stellar Awards with eight nods. Tribbett will also be honored with the prestigious James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Icon Award.

  • Other top nominees include Pastor Mike Jr. and Ricky Dillard, each securing six nominations, while Jonathan McReynolds and Erica Campbell garnered five nominations a piece.

  • Additionally, Kim Burrell will receive the Aretha Franklin Icon Award for her significant contributions to gospel music.

The 39th Stellar Gospel Music Awards will be taped on Saturday, July 20, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be co-hosted by TV personality and comedian Loni Love and radio/TV personality and comedian Rickey Smiley. The two-hour show will premiere on the Stellar Network on Saturday, August 3, at 8 p.m., with a repeat broadcast at 10 p.m. ET. It will also be available in broadcast syndication from August 10 to September 8.

The show is executive produced by Don Jackson, with Jennifer J. Jackson serving as producer and executive in charge of production. Michael A. Johnson will produce and direct, Erin Johnson will serve as talent producer, and Daniel Moore as music director.
