One Voice Collective release Noel Robinson and Israel Hougton penned song - "SPHOV"
The Tragic death of George Floyd has truly opened up the doors for real conversation concerning black lives. In response to this, One voice collective, a gathering of many UK national voices have put together this video and song and with the help of Premier Radio to continue to highlight this on going conversation. These are important days, when there is a need to remind everyone that ‘Black Lives Matter’. Amidst protest marches and uncomfortable yet constructive conversations, the question was how should we respond.? Somebody Please hear our voice perfectly reflects God’s heart for Worship & Justice. ‘ For its with One Voice we will sing a new song and with One Voice we will right what’s wrong’
The charity single was released on Premier Gospel's youtube channel with a powerful video which features cameos from UK Gospel artists.
Noel Robinson on the charity song - ''I had the privilege of writing this song ‘Somebody Please Hear my voice’ with @IsraelHoughton we really had no idea what would be happening during this season.
I believe we should not let this message and matter die until there is a seed of consciousness that grows in response to changing our cultural system to black lives and that we are a generation that together will finally Eradicate racism and end also the notion of slavery for all peoples around the globe.
My desire is that you will watch and share this video across your networks and keep the conversation going so we don’t ever repeat the past and we create the greatest generation of all humanity of all time.
The church of this generation together has the opportunity to change the culture and systems of the world! Let revival come lord!
