Universal Mass Choir ft. Nii deliver a soul-stirring anthem of hope and resilience in their latest release, “Not Alone”, produced by Mr Ruddy. Blending heartfelt worship with dynamic rap, the track is a compelling reminder that even in life’s fiercest storms, we are never truly alone - God is always present.
Inspired by Matthew 14:28-32, where Peter begins to drown after taking his eyes off Jesus, “Not Alone” uses the metaphor of water to represent the trials of life. Yet the message is clear: through faith, we are empowered to rise above, to walk on water - because God walks with us.
More than just a song, Not Alone is a personal testimony of transformation. Once homeless and vulnerable to a life of crime, the songwriter turned away from negative influences, overcame anxiety, earned a degree, and secured a fulfilling job in a foreign country - all through the grace of God and the support of a loving church family.
"Special thanks to God first and foremost without who this project wouldn’t be possible; Pastor Eldridge Asamoah and the Universal Radiant Family for inspiring the strength to complete the song; to the Blankson-Mills and Otoo families for their support and prayers; to Mr Rudolph Yartey for bringing the words to life through his composition; and to the Universal Mass Choir for ministering the song with the life and purpose it was intended to have."
Not Alone is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Listen here and be reminded - you are not alone.

Lyrics
Storms were raging within
Of sorrows and pain
In a darkness like oceans
I was drowning within
And as the waves come crushing, I heard the solemn voice (1x)
When I thought that it was over, Lord you came through, came through
Lord, you made me walk on water, Lord you came through, came through (2x)
Lord your word works miracles
And you speak life into bones (5x)
Lord your word works
Lord your word works (2x)
And when I hear you speak, I know I’m not alone
My provider and my Father
You are Abba, Abba
When I thought that it was over, Lord you came through, came through (3x)
RAP - NII
First things first let me get this out the way
Future so bright I’m in my saviour’s shade
In tune with His seasons, I’m my saviour’s taste
Since I let him in, He switched up my narrative,
From there on out Christ became my adjective,
Cos, he defined me and qualifies me
He will preserve me like an additive
Adding only positives
Take away the negatives
Multiply your word in me,
Divide the stormy waves like the Red Sea
I stand on solid ground I not Dey shake
He said it once, he won’t rephrase
He dey my side every single day
Cos his word works miracles
And it speaks life into bones
I lay down troubles today
At the feet of the one on the throne
Cos I know who sits on the throne
Yea I know who sits on the throne
Do you know who sits on the throne
CHOIR
