He brought us Colours of Afrika, then Sounds of Afrika and this time his latest offering is called "Rhythms of Afrika". Arguably, one of the most consistent popular live acts in the world. His unique blend of intimate worship, high quality visuals and his energetic style of ushering congregations into the presence of God has affected lives.

The album is his gift to the world and heavily inspired by Fela Kuti's music. Sonnie dedicates this album to families who lost loves ones on the battle field of Covid-19. He is undeniably one of the well respected trailblazers in African gospel music on a global scene with many hit songs and several awards to his credit.

Releasing an album in unprecedented times:
2020 was undoubtedly a tough season for everyone, however we managed to push this album virtually. It was a great honour creating and teaching my African American team new Rhythms of Afrika. This project was emotional, powerful and intense. Bringing back some BADU signature tunes that have been anthems for quite sometime now.
