MOJISOLA is back with Yet another soulful song. This time she puts her signature and a different twist to the global smash hit by Matt Redman “Heart Of Worship”. Originally released in 1999. It’s a Twist many will not see coming. A slow afrobeats style tempo on a classic worship song is one you don’t see everyday and MOJISOLA does nothing short of deliver, on this track.
When asked how she came to re-create this sound, she replies;
“I have always been influenced by great artistes like Matt Redman’s music and ministry. I have also, always been fascinated by the possibility of doing something different with great songs. I always ask myself a question when I hear a song. “If I was to sing this song, what or how would I do it differently?”.
So by the help and inspiration of the Holy Spirit,I was able to reimagine this song, being sung another way. It’s one of the first of many covers that I am currently re-creating. Part of my, what I call the “Covers and Conversations” sessions. I look forward to sharing these with everyone soon”.
MOJISOLA, an award winning gospel artiste, Registered Nurse by profession, Mum of two and Enterprenuer is UK Based and has an impressive catalogue of impactful, soul stirring music to her name.
To her credit she has released award winning songs such as In HIS Name, PRAY which aired on BBC Radio, ANYONE, a cover of Count On Me by whitney houston and Cece Winans which was featured on BBC Radios Black History Month in October,2020. To name a few.
