If you were a musical instrument, what would you be?” A strange question right? Well, just have a little think about it. Think about what makes you, you! Are you someone who is as peaceful, soothing, calm like a violin, but can become unstable and insufferable when pushed around, just like a violin when played poorly. Or, like an American musician Tom Lehrer once said, “Life is like a piano. What you get out of it depends on how you play it.” Is this the instrument you are? Remember that a piano is controlled by a master - so are you someone is obedient?
There are many different types of musical instruments that may portray who you are, and what you represent. A list of some instruments will be displayed at the bottom, so why not have a go and let us know the musical instrument you are!
HARP:
The harp symbolises royalty and luxury and exudes beauty and charm, despite being a solitary instrument. In the same way, this is attributed to a person who can unleash charisma onto the world. Just like how there is often only one harp (in some cases, two) in an orchestra, just one of you would be enough to influence the world.
GUITAR:
Are you a guitar? The riffs of a guitar are spontaneous and organic. Guitarists know how full of melody guitars can be. They also know that they can also hurt your fingers if played too roughly; this is a nice analogy that says “I need to be treated with care.” It’s also versatile – it can be the lead or a background rhythm. Does this suit your personality?
TRUMPET:
