HFP Musiccity Spotlight -Shalom Chorale light up Britain's Got Talent

We present to you Shalom Chorale, an award-winning Gospel Choir comprising sensational singers with a passion for spreading the love and peace of God through music. Their members come from different geographic regions in the UK, with the majority based in London. They are a bunch of talented individuals from all walks of life - students, NHS staff, teachers, care providers, amongst others.

Speaking to the vibrant ensemble:

“Shalom Chorale isn’t all about the music alone, it is a community of friends who care for and look out for each other through thick and thin. We are committed to supporting each other and building lifelong relationships that extend beyond the rehearsal room. Above all, our shared belief in God serves as a binding force that keeps us together.”

The choir was founded in ‪2018 by Femi Ayodeji and made their debut TV appearance on the 2018 ‘BBC Gospel Choir of the Year’ competition, judged by choir legends - Gareth Malone Karen Gibson and singer-actor, Shaun Escoffery - emerging winners!

Following this, the choir has featured on BBC Radio London recording some live music for the festive season; headline the 2018 Christian Aid UK’s ‘Gospel Christmas’ concert and the 2019 Good Friday concert 'Dark Sacred Nights' at Union Chapel, London; performed at the UK premiere screening of Aretha Franklin iconic live album recording movie 'Amazing Grace'; recorded live performances for BBC Songs of Praise in Bolton; received the Bazil Meade 'Award for Choral Excellence' in Manchester; partnered with charitable organisations such as Robes UK and Look Ahead Hackney Road Project in fundraising and support.
