According to Asha,
“It’s a song about being a new creation. About two or three years ago, I came to the realization of what it means to be a new creation and it really changed everything for me. It really allowed me to walk in my faith alot stronger. A lot of people don’t understand the extent to which we’re new creations. Sometimes we don't have to plead out to God to help us in certain areas; that just comes from a place of knowing the revelation but not walking in it. We need to start walking as if we’re new creations rather than begging to be in that place. Although I have a lot more to learn, I don’t care what version of myself people have seen in the past; I’m a new creation.”
