The annual award show celebrates and recognises talents within UK entertainment showcasing creatives in music, comedy, online media and film. Speaking on winning the award, an elated CalledOut Music dedicated the award to the UK gospel scene and thanked his amazing gospel family for joining him on the nominee list. Previous nominee Lurine Cato wowed the audience at the UK Entertainment Awards 2016 with her acoustic version of Naughty Boy and Beyonce's hit 'Running' and in 2017 was awarded with the 'Gospel Honouree award. Since then Lurine Cato has gone on to lead the 'B Positive Choir' which partnered with the National Health Service (NHS) and performed on Britain's Got Talent 2018 and at the Westminster Abbey in front of the Royal family. Lurine was also been appointed as lead vocal coach for ITV's 'Good Morning Britain: Sing It To Win It.'
