The 64th annual Grammy Awards took place Sunday. It was held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, hosted Trevor Noah who also hosted the 2021 ceremony. Maverick City took home a big prizes on the night especially in the Christian and Gospel space and they also performed a music medley which made history.

“This group was created for those who were marginalised, unheard, and rejected in this space, to be heard and have a space," said in the acceptance speech. “All of us on this stage represent that.”
Dante Bowie also weighed in below:
“I give God all the glory, and I feel like this win is for every black kid that feels misunderstood because of where they come from and what they’ve gone through,” says Bowe on his GRAMMY win for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album with Elevation Worship & Maverick City Music. “This is bigger than me, it’s for the culture. Breaking records is the new norm. Now I feel like I can accomplish anything!”
Maverick City Music also recently released details of their co-headline arena tour dates with Kirk Franklin. The tour was officially names "Kingdom",
The tour starts on June 1st and wand will go through 37 cities in North America including Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Los Angeles and closing in Denver, CO July 31st. Other acts include Jonathan McReynolds and Housefires. Elevation also released their latest album LION and are also embarking on a new tour.
