Debut Single - 'mustard seed' by lanaire aderemi


lanaire aderemi (stylised in lower-case) is an award-winning multi-hyphenate storyteller whose work spans from poetry, to theatre, to music. In 2018, she released 'ancient history (2018)', a genre bending collaborative EP with rapper King Solomon which saw the pair fuse poetry and music together. She is also the founder of 'story story pod' - an immersive audio drama series on Nigerian history.


Her debut single mustard seed, produced by Nigerian producer and artist, Yinka Bernie is the third track of lanaire's debut EP bless the memory. Throughout the soulful and playful track, lanaire aderemi encourages listeners to put their trust in God. Her debut single 'mustard seed' is now available on all streaming platforms.


Through plays she’s written such as protests, hymns and caskets based on a Nigerian movement called the Egba Women’s revolt, she archives forgotten histories. lanaire aderemi has opened for artists like Odunsi and has also been commissioned to produce work for the BBC. She has performed readings of her work at the Tate, The National Gallery, the V & A & Warwick Arts Centre. She has also been featured on the Native, Elle and Open Country Mag.
