Canadian music powerhouse Daphne Richardson has released her new single ‘Heavy’ - a soulful and personal anthem of resilience and encouragement. Following the successful release of her last single ‘Eternal Eyes’ in collaboration with her label mate CalledOut Music, she has blended old school gospel with modern R&B to create such a beautiful and uplifting ballad.
Rooted in 2nd Corinthians 4:9 which says, we are “persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed”, ‘Heavy’ a fervent reminder that regardless of how many times life tries to knock us down, we will never be destroyed.
“This single was written during a very difficult season. Some seasons can be so hard that it literally feels like they rob you of your breath, energy and passion.
