It's finally here - Christmas! Every year, artists bless us with new singles but this year, it seems we’ve been more blessed than ever; with artists being intentional with their Christmas releases. From singles to videos to extended and long playlists; there are a lot of tunes to feast on this Christmas. Before we unpack this list, the team at HFP Music City wants to especially wish you a very merry Christmas - one filled with love, joy, and memories that will carry you through the new year!

A Family Christmas - Andrea Bocelli
When we talk about classics, we cannot finish the list without mentioning Andrea Bocelli, "the world's most beloved tenor". This album is a hearty taste of the holidays from tenor and his children.
"Family is everything to us, especially at Christmas. We’re sharing the soundtrack to Christmas at Casa Bocelli in our first family album.
We all picked out our Christmas favourites including Away in a Manger, Happy Xmas (War Is Over), Feliz Navidad, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, and our brand new single The Greatest Gift.

Campfire Christmas (Vol 1.) - Rend Collective
Northern Ireland folk/worship band Rend Collective have released new album, 'Campfire Christmas Volume 1'. If you like folk, you'll love this.
"Christmas is a time of nostalgic family traditions so we wanted to bring you in to some of ours", explains the band. "We love the old hymns and carols of candlelight services too much to do Christmas without them... but that's not to say we haven't re-imagined them a bit! We hope you enjoy our "Rend-itions" of O Holy Night (O Night Divine) on ukulele, Joyful Joyful (Rejoice) for harmonium and string quartet, and, perhaps our favourite of all, the indie/rock'n'roll/gospel hybrid that is our Joy to the World (You are My Joy)."
Opening up with the classic We Wish You a Merry Christmas, to Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, to a version of 'Ding Dong Merrily On High', that will leave you with a smile on your face - this album will really get you in the mood. Of course as with most of the songs on the album, each song has been given the Rend Collective makeover. It's a fun, light, familiar, yet fresh album

Christmas Is Here - Michael W Smith
Iconic multi-platinum, singer and songwriter Michael W. Smith returns with new heartfelt Christmas EP inspired by thoughts of Christmases past and future. Christmas at Home features six brand new Christmas tracks that will remind us of why we celebrate this beautiful season. Starting with the song 'Freeze The Frame', written by Michael W. and Tony Wood painting pictures of family moments around the holidays where we all just wish everything would just slow down so they could be enjoyed just a bit longer, and easing into others featuring his entire family; we're reminded of an epic soundtrack. Behold and Joy To The World - Phil Wickham
The contemporary Gospel music singer, instrumentalist and award-winning songwriter released two Christmas songs - an original, 'Behold' with Anne Wilson, and his spin on 'Joy To The World'. Both Christmas songs that will get you to reflect deeply about the reason for the season.
A Very Maverick Christmas Special - Maverick City Music
TRIBL recently released 'A Very Maverick Christmas Special'. This beautiful rendition from the Grammy award-winning Worship music collective is timely as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Watch here!
The American renowned gospel group Maverick City Music of Tribl released an album titled 'A Very Maverick Christmas' in November 2021. Since its release, it peaked at number nine on Billboard's Top Christian Albums Chart, at number three Top Gospel Albums Chart in the United States, as well as number five on the Official Charts' Official Christian & Gospel Albums Chart in the United Kingdom.
Do You Hear What I Hear? (Official Music Video) - FOR KING + COUNTRY
Nashville-based Christian pop Australian brothers duo for KING & COUNTRY, consisting of Joel Smallbone and Luke Smallbone, dropped a new animated music video for “Do You Hear What I Hear?”, created by Andrew Cherry and Jordan Husmann. This uplifting animation rebirths this song which is included on their 2021 Christmas album “A Drummer Boy Christmas +”. Viewers are taken on the journey of the birth of Christ, and reminded of the hardships he suffered along with the light that He is.

The powerful music team releases new single, 'O Holy Night' just in time for Christmas. BYU Noteworthy is a nine-member, female Brigham Young University (BYU) acappella group, based in Provo, Utah, United States. It was founded in 2003. This song will definitely bless you.
